The ball pen is a laminated assembly made from Amboine burl, this instrument is a handcrafted design of series and carefully crafted in the woodworking workshop of La Griffe CYD.
The body of the pen is the result of an assembly of small pieces of precious wood which is of burl (also called brushwood) coming from the island of Amboine, laminated with ebony from Mozambique and thin strips of holly wood, in order to create a carefully arranged pattern. The assembly of small pieces of wood is mounted on a writing instrument model Editor, it has a pretty cap in satin chrome. L'Éditeur has a contemporary style and provides an ease of writing, the finish of this instrument is composed of 8 layers of friction varnish on a hard background, an exclusive to La Griffe CYD, which gives it a silky and very resistant finish.It is mounted on a chrome alloy writing instrument which makes it a durable and quality writing instrument ensuring it a very good value for money.
