The bog oak wood is of exceptional beauty and quality. The oaks rested at the bottom of rivers or at a depth of three to seven meters underground, deprived of oxygen. The tannin, which remains in the wood, reacts with the iron salts. This gives oak unique physical properties such as color, firmness and longevity.
